Adam’s Mountain Cafe – Manitou Springs
Adam’s mountain cafe is a long-time Manitou Springs fixture ever since the old days when they were downtown Manitou. It’s a place I often bring my personal out of town guests who are lodging on the West side or up Ute Pass who are looking for something delicious and healthy in a nice atmosphere that facilitates conversation.

Mountain Mama – Colorado Springs
Mountain Mama is a local, non-chain heath food store. It’s just off I-25 on Uintah. Good to know about in case you need to stock up on any natural provisions! They also have a deli and bakery.

Sweet Elizabeth’s Organics – Colorado Springs
In the same shopping center as Mountain Mama, Sweet Elizabeth’s Organics is a GF bakery in the same shopping center which features fresh baked goods, cake and cookie mixes. I bought a bunch of GF pastries for an event a while back, and the owner served me; I really appreciated getting a chance to hear his story and the personable service he provided.
